Role Description

You’ll support a Loan Officer and the origination team by managing the loan pipeline, keeping files organized, collecting and reviewing documents, coordinating with internal and external partners, and ensuring loan data is accurately documented in the loan system.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage loan files from application through closing: organize documents, track milestones, and keep files complete and accurate.
• Communicate with borrowers: request documentation, answer questions, and provide updates throughout the process.
• Collect, review, and upload borrower documents (income, assets, credit-related documents) to prepare files for processing/underwriting.
• Coordinate with processors, underwriters, title companies, and real estate agents to keep files moving efficiently.
• Maintain accurate notes, milestones, and communication logs within the Loan Origination System/CRM (Encompass or similar).
• Support day-to-day administrative needs such as making/screening calls and booking appointments.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish (required).
• At least 2 years of experience supporting mortgage origination as a Loan Assistant/LOA.
• Experience using Encompass or a comparable Loan Origination System.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, and document management tools; comfort working in PDFs (Adobe Acrobat or similar).
• Strong communication, accuracy, and follow-through with time-sensitive deadlines.

Requirements

• Location: Remote (Candidate must reside in Eastern or Central Time Zone).
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday (40 hours/week).
• Compensation: $50,000–$60,000 base salary + $50 per file. Overtime eligible.
