Job Description

Role Description

The Technical Solutions Specialist will support the setup and management of large-scale data collection in multi-site clinical trials. They will work closely with the clinical team to plan the data collection activities for all clinical trials as well as serve as a liaison between the data collection activities and the Alto Neuroscience Data Science and Engineering teams.

  • Support the planning, installation, and configuration of all data acquisition systems at clinical sites.
  • Identify software and hardware requirements at clinical sites, aiming to enhance data quality across all modalities.
  • Act as the technical intermediary between the clinical sites and Alto’s Data Science teams, facilitating seamless collaboration and communication for all biomarker data-related activities.
  • Analyze and rectify product issues by leveraging extensive engineering expertise and conducting in-depth analyses.
  • Deliver both remote and in-person training and troubleshooting sessions to clinical sites, as required, assisting with documentation of training for systems used to gather biomarker data.
  • Maintain comprehensive oversight of all clinical trial assets and generate projections to ensure improved fulfillment of site requirements.
  • Track and visualize incoming biomarker data from all Alto trials, generating concise summary reports.
  • Ensure that project deliverables and tasks meet the highest technical standards and adhere to internal SOPs and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and document all biomarker related activities from clinical sites and act as intermediary between Alto’s Engineering and Clinical Teams.
  • May assist in feature generation of site facing software products.
  • May assist in study related start-up processes and monitor clinical site data.

Qualifications

  • BS or MS in biomedical engineering, neuroscience, health sector management or a related field with 3 years of experience.
  • Familiarity with the basic principles of EEG, PSG, EMG and any other bio sensors.
  • Experience in explaining and training complex technical subjects to non-technical people.
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and taking initiative in seeking and utilizing available resources to effectively problem solve, all while ensuring the clinical trial is executed within compliance of regulations and of the highest quality.

Requirements

  • 70% travel required.

Salary Range

  • $75-$100K depending on qualifications and experience level.
