Role Description
The Quality Control Specialist is responsible for working with the Vice President of Quality Control and performs quality control reviews of all valuation products throughout the United States and its territories. This position reports to the Vice President of Quality Control. This position has the ability to be fully remote open to applicants located anywhere within the United States.
- Reviews all incoming valuation products.
- Reads and comprehends valuation reports to ensure high quality and that reports meet USPAP and Lender Requirement.
- Checks property for adverse factors via aerial and street scenes.
- Reviews subject condition reports.
- Understands and follows GSE and client guidelines.
- Reviews and can understand UCPD/EAD SSR’s warnings and indicators.
- Professionally and accurately requests conditions to be completed by the appraiser.
- Escalate appropriately as determined by guidelines.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Extreme attention to detail.
- Good time management and ability to work independently.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Able to analyze complex assignments and properties.
- Strong sense of urgency required with ability to multitask in a dynamic, demanding environment.
- Works well with little supervision; receptive to feedback and training intended to improve employee’s ability to perform at increasing levels of independence.

- Appraisal Management Company experience.
- Current or past license a plus, but not required.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for at least 50% of the time.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator and computer printer.
