• Record daily banking and financial transactions with accurate general ledger coding. • Perform timely and accurate bank reconciliations, including operating and trust accounts. • Maintain balance sheet integrity and proactively research and resolve discrepancies. • Support month-end close activities to ensure accurate and complete financial statements. • Research and complete required state and local filings across multiple jurisdictions. • Assist with year-end compliance activities, including preparation and filing of 1099s. • Maintain organized documentation to support audits, reviews, and regulatory requirements. • Support accounts payable processes, including vendor setup, invoice review, coding, and processing. • Ensure invoices are reviewed and approved in accordance with firm policies and internal controls. • Assist with vendor relationship management and issue resolution as needed. • Partner with Accounts Receivable team members on collections, trust replenishment, and reconciliations. • Assist with resolving client chargebacks, billing discrepancies, and payment issues. • Support accurate tracking and reporting of client-related financial activity. • Assist the CFO and Senior Accountant with financial analysis, reporting, and supporting data as requested. • Participate in cross-training and serve as backup support for Finance team members. • Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements as the firm scales. • Support special projects and ad hoc analyses as assigned.
