Job Description:

The University of Northern Iowa's Department of Nursing & Public Health seeks applications for an Assistant Adjunct Professor in Public Health position, for the Fall 2026 semester. We seek a dynamic and dedicated individual to teach an online Public Health course – PH 4663 Human Diseases. This position is eligible to be performed remotely within the state of Iowa. Employees who elect remote work must comply with the requirements of our remote work policy and agreement.

Education Requirements: 

Master's degree in Nursing, Public Health, Anatomy, Physiology, Biology, or related field required.  

Required Qualifications:

At least two years of professional experience required.

Preferred Qualifications: 

PhD or DNP in Nursing, Public Health, Biology, or a related field; experience teaching at the undergraduate level; expertise in appropriate technologies for instruction; and experience in teaching online and/or using course management programs preferred.
