Role Description
Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Cloud Web Applications Lead 100% Remote to drive the technical strategy and architecture for modern, cloud‑native web applications on AWS. This role is highly hands‑on and developer‑focused, supporting custom application development, micro-frontend patterns, and advanced visualization capabilities used in mission‑critical forecasting environments.
- Lead architecture and design of modern full‑stack applications on AWS
- Define standards for micro-frontends and modular application components
- Architect frontend and backend solutions using React, TypeScript, and Node.js
- Develop strategies for real‑time rendering, complex visualizations, and data‑intensive workflows
- Implement scalable patterns for processing large datasets using WebGL, D3.js, and related tools
- Establish API, cloud architecture, performance, and security standards
- Drive integration approaches across existing application ecosystems
- Partner with development and UX teams and provide technical guidance
- Build proof‑of‑concepts to evaluate emerging frameworks and visualization techniques
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of full‑stack web application architecture and development experience (including AWS environments)
- Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, HTML5, CSS3
- Expertise with modern frontend frameworks such as React
- Experience with custom application development, micro-frontends, and modular architectures
- Experience designing RESTful APIs and cloud‑native backend services
- Strong knowledge of WebGL, Realtime rendering, and visualization frameworks such as D3.js
