We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager / Delivery Lead to join our Wealth Management team. In this role, you will drive the end-to-end delivery of technology programs and initiatives that enhance our wealth management and financial services offerings. This position requires a strong blend of technical expertise, program management experience, and a deep understanding of the financial services industry, particularly in wealth management, asset management, investment platforms, and regulatory compliance.
The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including technology, business stakeholders, product managers, and external vendors, to deliver complex, high-impact solutions on time and within scope. You will be instrumental in leading large-scale programs, managing stakeholder expectations, mitigating risks, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Program Delivery & Management:
  • Lead and manage complex, multi-faceted technology programs related to wealth management solutions, financial services platforms, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Develop and manage detailed program roadmaps, timelines, resource plans, and budgets.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of program milestones.
  • Monitor project progress and resolve any roadblocks or delays, adjusting timelines and resources as necessary.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all program-related communication, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
  1. Stakeholder Management:
  • Work closely with senior leadership, business units, product owners, and IT teams to define program objectives and deliverables that align with business goals.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions, balancing stakeholder needs with technical constraints.
  • Manage expectations and foster strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency and continuous alignment.
  1. Risk and Issue Management:
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and obstacles that could impact the program's success.
  • Lead regular status meetings and escalations, tracking and resolving issues promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, SEC, MiFID II, etc.).
  1. Team Leadership:
  • Lead cross-functional teams including developers, QA engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
  • Drive collaboration across teams, ensuring high levels of accountability, motivation, and performance.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and best practices in both technology and process.
  1. Technical Oversight:
  • Provide technical guidance and direction for the implementation of complex financial systems, platforms, and integrations.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure technical solutions are scalable, secure, and meet performance and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay informed on emerging technologies and trends within wealth management and financial services to provide recommendations and insights that drive innovation.
  1. Quality Assurance and Delivery:
  • Oversee the testing and validation processes to ensure all deliverables meet the defined quality standards and business requirements.
  • Work closely with QA teams to create test plans, ensuring the end product is robust, reliable, and defect-free.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation is created and maintained, including technical specifications, release notes, and training materials.

Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in technical program management or delivery lead roles, ideally within the wealth management, financial services, or fintech sectors.
  • Proven experience leading complex, large-scale technology programs or initiatives in a highly regulated industry.
  • Experience working with financial products, wealth management platforms, investment banking technologies, or asset management solutions is highly desirable.
Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong understanding of the wealth management domain, including investment management, portfolio strategies, financial planning, and client relationship management tools.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, MS Project).
  • Strong technical background with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance frameworks (e.g., MiFID II, Dodd-Frank, SEC regulations) is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with senior leadership and technical teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), CRM/wealth management platforms, and APIs is a plus.
