Job Description
Job Title: Sr Business Consultant - Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
Location: Virtual within the US
Travel: Up to 50% travel across the US
Overview: As a Sr Business Consultant at Blue Yonder, you will act as a domain expert and advocate for best business practices. You will leverage your deep understanding of our product suite and the supply chain industry to drive transformative solutions for our clients. Your role involves interfacing with various stakeholders to ensure the solutions meet business objectives and improve end-user experiences.
What you'll do:
Act as a domain expert for product development, providing functional thought leadership.
Understand the application domain, customer, and user needs, and the competitive landscape.
Ensure solution designs effectively meet business objectives and user requirements.
Interface with various stakeholders including product management, customers, services, and platform teams.
Improve end-user experience by reviewing test plans and product documentation.
Resolve critical customer issues and participate in defect triage meetings.
Contribute to product architecture and functionality decisions.
Collaborate with UX designers to enhance user experience.
Validate new features and demonstrate functionality to stakeholders.
Participate in planning sessions to develop enhancements that support business scenarios.
Provide cross-training and education to internal and external departments.
What we are looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in one or more of the following:
Business consulting or advisory roles
Professional Services or customer delivery teams
Enterprise software implementation or support environments
Exposure to client‑facing work preferred, but not required to be fully independent
Strong communication, analytical, and collaboration skills.
Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies
Utilization of project management tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar.

The annual salary range for this position is USD $72,013.92 - $108,211.55
The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
