Role Description

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Director, Associate Financial Planners - REMOTE. In this pivotal role, you will lead a team of Associate Financial Planners to drive client acquisition, retention, and the enhancement of client value through our wealth service offerings. Your leadership will ensure that clients receive outstanding service and guidance in their financial planning journeys. You will empower your team to thrive in a collaborative and values-driven environment, while adhering to corporate policies, promoting smart investment decisions, and enhancing client experiences across various fields including retirement and risk management.

  • Lead a team of about 30 Associate Financial Planners (AFPs) to drive client acquisition and retention.
  • Coach and develop AFPs to perform comprehensive financial planning analysis for clients.
  • Guide AFPs in utilizing internal tools for financial planning processes.
  • Manage performance metrics and drive strategic priorities in partnership with planners.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate policies while enhancing the client experience.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in financial services sales management with a distributed team.
  • Direct experience leading teams of 10 or more, including recruiting and performance management.
  • Strong leadership skills to empower sales staff effectively.
  • Deep understanding of financial services, comprehensive financial planning, and RIAs.
  • FINRA Series 65 required.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or finance, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Certified Financial Planner designation preferred.
