Role Description
AI systems still struggle to understand natural Cantonese speech, especially across real-life scenarios. In this project, you’ll help improve voice recognition by recording spoken Cantonese prompts used in smart devices.
What you'll do
- Recording Task
- Record a total of 200 Cantonese sentences

Content types include:
- Wake-up words
- Wake-up words + query
- Query sentences
- Complete all recordings in one session (no switching speakers)
- Record in a quiet environment with no background noise
- Speak naturally and fluently (no word-by-word reading)

Follow different speaking speeds:
- Slow: ≤1300ms
- Normal: ~700–1100ms
- Fast: ≤600ms
- Ensure accurate pronunciation (e.g., clearly distinguish similar sounds)
What you'll get
- Pay: USD $0.13 per recording/message
- Total task time: ~0.5–1 hour for 200 sentences
- Total pay = 200 × 0.13 = $26 USD
