Role Description

The Division Controller is responsible for overseeing the accounting operations of Novatae Risk Group and ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of accounting processes and records. This role leads the accounting function and is responsible for managing financial close processes, internal controls, and compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The Division Controller works closely with the Chief Financial Officer and other senior leaders to support financial planning, operational decision-making, and strategic initiatives.

The ideal candidate is a strong technical accounting leader with experience managing accounting teams in a fast-paced environment and supporting financial operations within complex or multi-entity organizations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• Prior experience in corporate accounting, financial reporting, or controllership roles.
• Experience managing accounting teams and financial close processes.
• Experience in insurance, financial services, or professional services environments preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• CPA certification strongly preferred.
