Job Description

• Review new contracts and product offerings / promotions for correct ASC606 or ASC842 treatment • Build relationships with Business Development teams to encourage Accounting involvement early in the proposal lifecycle • Work closely with FinTech to implement a new Revenue Management System • Manage the end-to-end accounting close process for revenue-related transactions, including managing a team of 1-2 senior accountants • Collaborate with teams across departments to ensure accurate billing and revenue accounting • Review monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and receivables reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness • Implement and maintain internal controls to enhance accuracy and safeguard financial integrity • Participate in system improvements and process enhancements to streamline accounting operations

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
CPA
6+ years relevant professional experience, preferably in public accounting and/or with a publicly-traded company
Strong understanding of US GAAP principles and SOX internal control requirements
Ability to use a variety of software programs and tools to analyze and work with large data sets and accomplish tasks efficiently
Skilled in problem solving, making decisions, being a self-starter and working effectively under pressure while meeting deadlines.
Experience reviewing new contracts or agreements for accurate revenue recognition
SQL knowledge
