Job Requirements
- Minimum three (3) - five (5) years’ experience required in either, case management, outpatient coding, utilization review, CDI or other disciplines
- 2 years’ experience in Primary Care, medical coding, risk adjustment or CDI preferred
- Current certification in Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDIP, CCDS, CCDS-O or CDEO) preferred
- Certification in medical coding and or risk adjustment (i.e., CRC, CPC, CCS, CDEO, or CCS-P or other pertinent to outpatient) preferred
- Medical licensure (RN, PA, NP) preferred
- Bachelor’s degree healthcare related preferred
- Strong PC skills / Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint

STGiReceives FOH program direction from the FOH Medical Director or designee. Notifies FOH Medical Director or designee of any planned Leave of absence using established processes. Attends all monthly RMO calls in real time or by viewing recorded sessions. Presents interesting case or topic to RMOs apropos to law enforcement or medical surveillance at least once each calendar year. Completes all required training and demonstrates proficiency in using FOH IT systems for the performance of reviews and communication. Reviews and complies with all federal cybersecurity policies and standard operating procedures. Demonstrates a high level of professional conduct. Provides quality work products in a short time frame, which is pre-determined by the type of work that is to be completed. Works with designated management, safety, and human relations personnel of federal agency clients on all matters pertaining to occupational health and safety and related programs and services. Partners with FOH team members to provide prompt response to customer inquiries related to case reviews or urgent consultation.
