• A GE Aerospace Field Service Engineer (FSE) serves as the primary point of contact for all customer technical matters in support of their commercial aviation engines. • The support team operates 24/7, providing technical advice and assistance to customers on the operation, maintenance, repair, logistics support, and installation of jet engines. • In this role, the FSE will provide on-site interpretation of OEM data and technical instructions and communicate with internal teams on the status of engine programs, events, and trends. • The FSE’s mission is to prevent the next operational event and keep their customer’s fleet operating reliably by addressing operational issues as they arise and managing the technical program plan for each supported engine model. • Provide Leadership and Technical Support: Offer technical direction and assistance to the customers operation, inspections, maintenance, and repair of assigned fleets. • Monitor and Improve Reliability: Track reliability and on-wing performance, including significant events, engine removals, delays, and cancellations.
