- Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (BSME) with over 5 years of experience in engineering design, analysis, or applications
- Must reside in Chicago, Illinois
- Must be willing and able to travel 30–50% of the time, sometimes at short notice but not for extended periods of time.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer skills (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

The Heavy-Duty Technician is responsible for the maintenance and repair of various trucks and equipment, focusing on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems. This includes inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing components, and carrying out a preventative maintenance program for mobile equipment.

The Mobile Diesel Technician Level II performs licensed DOT inspections, Preventative Maintenance inspections, light and follow-up repairs, and light mechanical/hydraulic/electrical/electronic diagnostics on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile field environment. This role involves independently managing parts inventory, documenting work using a company iOS device, and ensuring compliance with all safety and organizational policies.
