Overview

At Gallagher, we’re service-minded individuals shaping a future defined by excellence. As a Loss Control Consultant, you’ll play a key role in helping senior living facilities manage risks, improve safety, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely while traveling to client sites across Alabama and occasionally out of state. You’ll be part of a team that values collaboration, innovation, and making a lasting impact.


How you'll make an impact

In this role, you’ll work closely with senior living facilities to assess risks and provide tailored solutions. You’ll conduct on-site visits, mock surveys, and risk assessments to help clients meet state and federal healthcare regulations. Your insights will guide clients in improving resident care, life safety processes, and compliance. You’ll also develop educational resources, deliver lectures, and create tools to support quality improvement activities. By monitoring reports and attending client meetings, you’ll provide actionable recommendations that drive positive change.

Here’s what else you’ll do:

  • Write detailed reports and share findings with clients.
  • Collaborate with claims departments on reportable incidents.
  • Create whitepapers and educational materials on industry updates.
  • Stay accessible to clients and provide support when needed.

About You

Here’s what you’ll bring to the role:

  • Professional experience in the senior living industry, with a background as an LPN, RN, or Social Worker.
  • Ability to travel within Alabama and occasionally out of state. Preference for candidate to be located in Alabama
  • Strong communication skills to explain complex healthcare regulations in simple terms.
  • Experience conducting risk assessments and mock surveys.
  • A commitment to confidentiality and ethical practices.
  • Proficiency in creating educational materials and reports.

We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
