Role Description
ELT is seeking a qualified and experienced English language teacher for a live online program designed for a teenager.
- Program Details:
- Live Online English (A1-A2)
- 120 hours available
- 60-minute lessons, 4x/week
- Available Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat 18:00 PM to 21:00 PM (Tokyo Standard Time)
- Participant is a native Japanese speaker relocating to the Chicago area.
- The participant is a 15 y/o boy who needs to be able to speak with/make friends and attend class in English.
- Their goals are to build a positive and enjoyable impression of English and gradually improve overall proficiency.
- Will relocate to US around mid-end of July.
- Parents want the lessons to be fun and encourage the student to speak.
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Native or native-like proficiency in English
- Proven experience teaching language live online to non-native speakers
- Strong understanding of language acquisition and pedagogical methods
