Job Description

• Overseeing and managing the overall performance and profitability of a portfolio of properties within a designated region. • Developing and implementing effective property management strategies. • Ensuring high tenant satisfaction and optimizing financial returns for property owners. • Coordinating and leading property management teams. • Collaborating with various stakeholders and maintaining a strong understanding of real estate market trends in the region. • Inspecting properties and reviewing financial, market, and operational reports to achieve results. • Collaborating with CMs and regional support services leaders to improve asset and team performance. • Implementing local and national operational initiatives. • Overseeing and managing budgets to meet or exceed financial targets. • Preparing and presenting regular reports on property performance, financial metrics, and market trends to ownership and senior management. • Fostering positive relationships with tenants and addressing their concerns promptly. • Implementing tenant retention programs, maintenance programs, and ensuring compliance with regulations. • Conducting market research and analysis to identify opportunities for property improvement and trends.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred in Business, Real Estate, or related fields.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role with managing diverse properties.
  • Proficiency in using property management software (preferably Yardi and/or Real Page), word processing, spreadsheet, and database management applications to complete and produce required reports and other employment documents.
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and team management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of real estate laws, regulations, and market trends.
  • Abilities to create and manage stakeholder relationships.
  • 3 years minimum of relevant experience.
  • Real Estate license required in specific markets, otherwise preferred.
  • Industry certifications (e.g. CPM, CAPS, CAM, etc.) also preferred.
