Job Summary:

• Maintain computers used for lab events, trade shows, and internal use, in addition to the existing tasks of the team member.

Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Administer computers used by the office.
• Perform system updates, wipe and reset devices as needed.
• Perform remote management of devices, primarily for machines used at events, as updates and commands are often necessary while the machines are on the road between events. These are pushed through our MDM website. 
• All candidate’s current Land F/X job responsibilities.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Familiar with macOS and system administration.
• Familiar with the process of resetting computers to default states and go through setup to standardize deployments.
• Experience with bash scripting language a plus. Willingness to learn required, as some configurations require the use of bash scripts.

Minimum Experience/Education:

• Must be a current employee of Land F/X.

Physical Requirements:

• Helpful if able to be physically present at the office as needed periodically to perform some administrative tasks. For instance, when resetting machines, the candidate will not have remote access, and initial configuration will need to be completed physically at the machine. If this isn’t an option, we can coordinate with other team members to be present when these operations are required.  
• Extended periods of sitting at a desk are required.
• Movement mainly consists of occasional walking or standing, frequent typing, reaching, and operating office equipment.
• Occasional trips to the office, labs, events, or trade shows may also be required.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Must be able  to view a computer monitor for extended periods.

Compensation:

• Though not guaranteed, potential compensation will be reviewed approximately six months after assignments begin, based on business needs and performance.
