Job Description

Role Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Migration Specialist to play a critical role in integrating newly acquired businesses into our systems and driving data excellence across the organization. In this role, you will lead the migration, cleansing, and transformation of data from multiple CRM sources into our core PestPac platform — ensuring accuracy, consistency, and seamless business continuity.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the backbone of our M&A success and help shape scalable data practices in an exciting environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the execution of cross-functional tasks from the M&A integration playbook, supporting multiple data migration projects simultaneously.
  • Analyze a variety of CRM systems to understand data structures, relationships, and anomalies.
  • Design data extraction and mapping schemas from legacy systems to Lookout CRM in order to support business and system requirements.
  • Develop repeatable migration processes, including extracting, transforming, and importing customer data.
  • Clean, standardize, and transform data to align with Lookout’s CRM configuration while identifying and resolving data quality issues.
  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to validate migrated data for accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
  • Document, track, & communicate progress of data mapping and migration activity.
  • Act as a liaison between internal teams and external parties during migration processes.

Qualifications

  • 3 or more years’ experience in data migration within the pest control industry.
  • Experience with business operations (branch structure, service workflows, billing, scheduling, and customer management) to guide data mapping and ensure migrations reflect real-world processes.
  • Experience migrating CRM platforms, including systems such as PestPac, FieldRoutes, and Briostack, with a focus on maintaining data integrity, minimizing downtime, and ensuring seamless user adoption.
  • Experience with analyzing and transforming complex legacy datasets by developing and applying business-driven transformation rules, including complex formulas, reconciling legacy data structures, formats, and values with the data requirements of the target software.
  • Experience designing and executing migration pathways, including staging environments, parallel system testing, and post-migration support.

Requirements

  • Project management experience (preferred).

Benefits

  • Health care (medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability).
  • 401K match (6%).
  • Paid time off.
  • Parental leave.
  • Financial planning services.
  • Continuous education.
