Job Description

• Design and develop integration platform infrastructure - adapter layer APIs, event-driven systems, workflow orchestration engines. • Lead technical decision-making on integration architecture patterns and API design. • Build full-stack capabilities across backend integration services and frontend interfaces. • Collaborate across Product, Sales, Tech Services, and Engineering teams to understand integration requirements. • Own feature delivery from conception through production deployment. • Debug and resolve complex integration issues: OAuth flows, webhook delivery failures, rate limiting scenarios. • Establish technical standards and best practices for integration development through code review. • Improve development workflows: CI/CD pipelines, testing strategies for third-party API interactions.

Job Requirements

Strong backend experience with Ruby on Rails building production integration systems.
Solid frontend skills with React and TypeScript.
Experience with distributed systems like message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka, SQS).
You've deployed and operated production services on AWS (Lambda, RDS, SQS, S3).
PostgreSQL proficiency including schema design, query optimization, multi-tenant data handling.
You've built APIs that other engineers use.
Deep knowledge of integration mechanics like OAuth2 across different enterprise systems.
Product sense for integrations.
Track record shipping integration features end-to-end.
You make teammates better through code review and sharing what you've learned.
You use AI tools (Cursor, Copilot, Claude) to work faster and experiment with new capabilities.
