Role Description
The Senior Platform Developer designs, develops, and maintains the firm’s SharePoint platforms (SharePoint Online and on-premises) and Microsoft Power Platform applications. Operating in a remote, firm-wide capacity, this role builds scalable, secure, and user-centric solutions using:
- Power Apps
- Power Pages
- SPFx web parts
- Power Automate
This role emphasizes governance, compliance, and performance optimization, while mentoring junior developers and collaborating with attorneys, practice groups, and business support teams to translate business needs into innovative technical solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience developing and administering SharePoint and Power Platform solutions
- Deep experience with SharePoint Online and SharePoint Subscription Edition
- Proficiency in Power Apps, Power Pages, Power Automate, and Power BI
- Strong skills in SPFx, React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS
- Experience with REST APIs, Microsoft Graph, custom connectors, and integration with SQL Server and Dataverse
- Familiarity with Teams, OneDrive, Azure Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 Copilot
- Proficiency in PowerShell (including PnP modules), Power Fx, and GitHub
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to independently resolve complex technical issues
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, Agile environment
