Summary
The IT Technical Analyst supports the bank as the primary technical liaison among line-of-business teams, vendor platforms, IT development/support teams, testing functions, and business stakeholders. Ensures the system development lifecycle (SDLC)—particularly in vendor-managed environments with integrations, configurations, data flows, and technical dependencies understood, documented, and testable throughout the software lifecycle. Partners with LOB and IT SMEs/Engineers to produce and maintain technical and testing documentation (e.g., functional design documents, workflow diagrams, traceability matrices, and qTest plans/reporting).
Duties & Responsibilities
Analyze vendor-provided application architectures, interfaces, APIs, and configuration options to support required technical documentation.
Translate business and regulatory requirements into clear technical artifacts, including Functional Design Documentation, system Visio workflows, interface specifications, Requirement Traceability Matrices, Test Plans, Test Scripts, Test Management Dashboards and Testing Defect Logs and Management.
Support environment readiness, test data provisioning, and coordination of vendor-led testing activities.
Ensure adherence to banking security, risk, and compliance standards.

Qualifications
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred
Minimum Experience
5+ years of experience in IT analysis or technical support roles within financial services.
5+ years experience in Technical Documentation (Functional Design Documentation, Traceability Matrices, Test Plans, Test Management, System Architecture/Visio Workflows)
Licenses & Certifications
Knowledge of banking regulations such as SOX, PCI, and FFIEC preferred
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Strong understanding of system integrations, APIs, batch processing, and data flows.
Experience working with vendor-based platforms (e.g., core banking, payments, AML, CRM).
Familiarity with SDLC, defect management, and test lifecycle processes.
Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, or test management platforms (preferred).
Ability to effectively access and interpret information on computer screens, documents, and reports.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly related to complex technical integrations and vendor systems.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
Proficiency in maintaining and organizing technical documentation.
Adaptability to evolving technology and system requirements.

Office: This position reports to a physical Company location, and the setting will be a typical office environment.
Remote or hybrid: For remote or hybrid positions, a secure and distraction-free setting is required, with a reliable internet connection (cable or fiber preferred, mobile hotspots not acceptable).
