Job Description
Job Requirements
- Requires Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 15 years of experience preferred; typical incumbent has 20-25 years of experience
- Professional Engineering (PE) License required, with ability to be licensed in multiple jurisdictions
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to foster and achieve goal alignment among participants with differing interests
- Expert knowledge of key design codes and standards for commercial nuclear facilities required
- Participation in appropriate national consensus standard/code committees preferred
- Expert knowledge in the use of mechanical design software codes, such as ANSYS, Fluent, and AutoPipe
- Senior design professional on Commercial and Department of Energy nuclear reactor projects preferred
- Must be a U.S. citizen in order to be considered
