Job Description

• Collaborate with business units to understand financial operations and requirements. • Consult with clients in ways to utilize various technological tools to help improve business processes. • Configure the Banner financial module to meet business needs. • Provide expertise in using Banner to improve and automate business processes within the finance office at a college or university. • Assist in testing and implementation of financial software. • Troubleshoot issues related to system usage, configuration, and data integrity. • Provide end-user training and support documentation. • Keep abreast of industry changes and recommend system enhancements to increase efficiency.

Job Requirements

5 or more years working within the Higher Education Industry.
5 or more years of experience working with Ellucian Banner, demonstrating advanced user proficiency.
Experience implementing the Banner Finance module at a college or university.
Strong knowledge of financial operations, including general accounting, budgeting, and purchasing within the higher education industry.
Experience in a consulting capacity, focusing on enhancing business processes and demonstrated success in creating efficiency.
Ability to troubleshoot functional issues within Banner and communicate user requirements to the technical support team.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills and a proven customer service approach.
