Job Description

• Complete a practitioner-level skills assessment • Complete a short post-assessment survey • No meetings, facilitation, reviews, or follow-up work

Job Requirements

  • Current practitioners with applied, real-world experience in cyber defense infrastructure support
  • Familiarity with network security infrastructure deployment and configuration (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN gateways)
  • Familiarity with Security information and event management (SIEM) system administration and maintenance
  • Familiarity with Vulnerability assessment tools implementation and management (Nessus, OpenVAS, Rapid7)
  • Familiarity with Network monitoring and analysis tools (Wireshark, Nagios, SolarWinds)
  • Familiarity with Endpoint security solution deployment and management (antivirus, EDR, DLP)
  • Familiarity with Security appliance hardware maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with Network segmentation and access control implementation
  • Familiarity with Incident response infrastructure support and forensic tool deployment
  • Familiarity with Security automation scripting and orchestration (Python, PowerShell, SOAR platforms)
  • Familiarity with Compliance scanning and reporting infrastructure (SCAP, STIGs, CIS benchmarks)
