Job Description

• Sell Littelfuse products and achieve or exceed a given sales forecast by developing appropriate sales strategies in the territory. • Develop and maintain strong relationship at Key Customers and Key Distributors in line with our Market Segment strategy. • Manage and motivate our network of Manufacturer Rep Firms in the South-Central Region. • Train Sales Reps on new products and implementation of all technologies into a wide range of applications. • Maintain the existing distribution network. • Support distributors in their purchase activities. • Stimulate and motivate the distributors’ sales staff. • Give sales training to the distributors’ employees. • Develop and oversee Creation and Management of New Business Opportunities for the region. • Understand emerging trends or technologies, which may impact Circuit Protection, Sensor and Power Control solutions. • Stay on top of product-market developments and report about these. • Initiate new applications for Littelfuse products. • Initiate new product developments. • Provide Product Management with competitive market information. • Assist with coordination of territory visits by Littelfuse Sales-, Product- and Marketing Managers. • Conduct appropriate action to accomplish full customer satisfaction (in particular in case of bottlenecks, problems or customer complaints).

Job Requirements

  • Knowledge of the electronic component industry with demonstrated direct selling experience to major customers, preferably with Semiconductor, Circuit Protection, Sensor and Power Control components is desired but not required.
  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding quota and key objectives.
  • BSc Electronic Engineering or other BSc Engineering disciplines as well as Sales / Marketing qualifications will be taken into account.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills are required due to high customer interaction, via phone, e-mail, and in-person.
  • Native English speaking; Foreign language(s) a plus.
  • Capability to quickly develop credibility though partnerships with peers and the Management Team.
  • Strong Strategic Skills and the ability to work in a team to develop strategies and action plans.
  • An articulate and inspiring communicator having the ability to lead people and changes in a positive direction.
  • A balance of abilities in setting long term vision and achieving tactical milestones.
  • High energy, passionate and takes ownership.
