• Investigate, evaluate, and resolve moderate-to-high severity property and casualty claims. • Determine insurance coverage, compensability, and liability for assigned property and casualty claims. • Investigate claims by interviewing claimants, insureds, clients, and witnesses. • Resolve complex coverage, liability, and damage issues utilizing sound judgment and technical expertise. • Coordinate and manage vendor services, including contractors, emergency mitigation, repair, and cleaning services. • Maintain control of litigation activities and associated costs in accordance with account-specific guidelines. • Negotiate settlements effectively with claimants, attorneys, and other involved parties. • Prepare and deliver comprehensive, accurate written reports to clients and excess carriers, including recommendations and exposure evaluations. • Maintain current knowledge of industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and claims trends.
