• Utilize technical coding expertise to review medical records thoroughly • Perform coding for physician professional services and diagnosis codes • Follows guidelines for assigning appropriate CPT, ICD10 codes and modifiers with high accuracy • Ensure charges are captured by performing various reconciliations • Provide documentation feedback to physicians • Train physicians and other staff regarding documentation, billing and coding • Review and communicate new or revised billing and coding guidelines • Resolve pre-accounts receivable edits • Identify documentation problems and system issues • Collaborate with operational areas for coding reimbursement expertise
