Job Description
• Develop a deep understanding of the firm’s operations, departments, and technology stack.
• Design, build, and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards and reports tailored to various departments (e.g., legal, marketing, HR, finance).
• Manage Power BI Service: publish reports, configure data gateways, manage workspace permissions, and schedule data refreshes.
• Integrate and transform data from multiple sources, including: Legal and CRM platforms: Filevine, LeadDocket, HubSpot Microsoft 365 tools: Excel, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive HR and productivity tools: BambooHR, ActiveTrack.
• Conduct in-depth data analysis to support strategic decisions by attorneys, directors, and executive leadership.
• Automate reporting processes and build scalable, reusable data models.
• Monitor and analyze KPIs, providing monthly/quarterly executive summaries.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy through regular audits and validation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of data sources, definitions, dashboards, and reporting standards.
• Provide ad hoc analysis and support for special projects and operational needs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics with a strong focus on Power BI dashboard development.
- Advanced proficiency in: Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling) SQL (data extraction, transformation, and optimization) Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, Power Pivot) Python: API Creation and Integration.
- Experience working with Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook).
- Strong understanding of marketing analytics (e.g., campaign attribution, funnel analysis) and financial reporting (e.g., cash flow, burn rate, revenue forecasting).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear, actionable format.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to data integrity, privacy, and confidentiality.
