Job Description
Job Requirements
- Must have a Bachelor degree in a related field.
- An advanced degree is preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of related experience.
- Proven track record of new business development in market research or analytical services within the clinical, pharma or life sciences industry.
- Keen observer of industry trends and needs, and how analytics or market research could be positioned to meet those client objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to develop business strategies to improve and grow business opportunities with multiple customers.
- Experience effectively using Salesforce.com or similar product and use it diligently / willingly
- Demonstrates financial acumen to price and sell work that will have a solid margin.
- Ability to support existing engagements with a primary key account, while also pursuing growth concurrently.
- Uses effective planning skills to meet short and long-term objectives.
- Interpersonal skills: Displays a strong presence, leadership and confidence.
- Must be intelligent, perceptive, a quick study, high-energy.
- Possesses the qualities to get results with tact and diplomacy.
- Exhibits good judgment.
- Exhibits a strong work ethic with a reputation for integrity and honesty.
- Is a strong communicator and confident giving presentations - including to C-level audiences.
- Perceptive in understanding people and situations correctly.
- Ability to build relationships with internal and external clients throughout all levels of the organization
