Job Description

• The Sr Director, Enterprise Solutions Architect will be the overall responsible leader for 'Enterprise Solution Architecture’ - Designing the solution architecture for large Enterprise wide programs and initiatives across Ascension Technologies. • Manage a team of Enterprise solution architects. • Provide overall leadership for enterprise solution architecture; manage a team of ESAs. • Identifying pain points and modernization opportunities. • Creating detailed Points of View (POV), employing a domain centric collaborative approach, providing architectural perspective and technology pattern recommendations. • Support the creation of strategic roadmaps that sequence technology initiatives based on business priorities and technical dependencies, aligning to the overall enterprise strategy. • Works closely with partners inside and outside IT and across business communities in understanding and assessing technology requirements, identifying potential technology solutions.

Job Requirements

High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management
Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.
10 or more years of architecture experience; experience working in a large global IT environment strongly preferred
Five or more years experience in an information technology discipline with increasing responsibility
Healthcare IT experience is highly preferred, ideally encompassing a broad range of business areas, care delivery settings, including related processes, integration and solution exposure.
Product Model and Agile experience preferred (at scale)
Familiarity with The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) and architecture modeling tools (e.g. Abacus, IBIS, Orbus iServer, MEGA, LeanIX, etc.
