Job Description
Job Requirements
- 8-10 years total experience
- >=4 years in clean energy project development (interconnection, owner’s engineering/IE oversight, EPC management, commercial negotiations)
- >=4 years leading HV substation/collector design (345-500 kV)
- Experience delivering ≥3 utility-scale projects through energization
- Strong understanding of HV transmission, substation equipment, MV distribution
- Technical expertise in power system design, optimization, and studies
- Experience managing interconnection study processes in ERCOT and CAISO
- Advanced knowledge of steady-state modeling tools such as ETAP, SKP, or DigSILENT
- Hands-on experience collaborating with EPCs and utilities during design and construction phases
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Solid Excel skills and familiarity with system design trade-offs
- Experience creating specifications and designs for HV transmission and substation equipment
- Successfully advanced 5+ projects through CAISO, ERCOT, or SPP interconnection processes
