Job Description

• Staff Accountants support multiple client accounts as integral members of each client's accounting team • Act as the primary point of contact for day-to-day accounting matters • Participate in regular client meetings and foster a collaborative team environment • Engage in account clean-up initiatives and drive workflow efficiencies • Handle Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Account Reconciliation, Sales Tax, and Cash Flow Management • Represent BELAY Financial professionally in communications

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree or a year or more of accounting-related experience
Produce work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong critical thinking and interpersonal skills
Financial statement proficiency
Understanding of Accounting Principles
Accounting Systems Knowledge in QuickBooks Online, BILL, Gusto or similar cloud-based accounting, payroll, and/or business management software
Ability to manage time and workload in a remote environment
Professional, kind, and proactive in all client-facing communication (written and on camera)
