• Providing strategic and tactical direction for Verification and Validation of HVDC Control and Protection System • Establishing process to assess, review, and record testing needs and boundaries for projects • Leading generation of plans, procedures, and specifications for System Tests, Acceptance Tests, and Commissioning Tests • Developing Test Management Plans & Solutions • Coordinating HVDC testing from Lab Testing to Customer acceptance • Maintaining a clear overview of the HVDC Project life cycles • Validating processes and test specifications • Defining and executing Continuous Improvement for V&V department • Enforcing engineering discipline and adherence to company policies • Reviewing validation and verification department’s skills and guiding training needed • Leading and mentoring V&V team for customer communications and clarity of expectations
