Job Description
• Lead structural and foundation design for large-scale renewable energy projects.
• Review calculations and site plans.
• Solve technical challenges and collaborate with engineering and construction teams.
• Provide technical guidance and support for field teams.
• Drive continuous improvement across design standards.
• Establish safe engineering designs that comply with regulations.
• Manage designs that satisfy the design life of power plants.
• Collaborate across departments with vendors and suppliers to explore innovative ideas and methods.
• Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical personnel.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil, structural, or mechanical engineering, or related field required.
- Four or more years of progressive engineering and engineering supervisory experience in a related industry (i.e., heavy civil, industrial, utilities, power generation) required.
- At a minimum, the candidate will hold an Engineer-in-Training certificate with potential to become a licensed Professional Engineer in 6 months preferred.
- Professional Engineer license, with an emphasis on construction, geotechnical, or structural engineering preferred.
- Surveying experience preferred.
