• Maintain Data Dictionary and Entity Relationship documentation • Manage the Production Database • Update and Create Database Fields and Tables • Monitor Database Growth and Performance • Upgrade database tools as necessary and appropriate • Perform Database Monitoring and Updates to Ensure Data Integrity • Perform Database Backup and Recovery • With client approval, make all database changes/modifications identified and prioritized by the client. • Evaluate requirements analysis, clarification of the problem with the originator, determining if correcting the problem is feasible and cost effective, and the consequences of the proposed change. • Coordinate with the client on all problems. • Automate all End of Month (EOM) database tasks where possible. This will include database snapshots, backups, interface transmissions, expiring positions, report creation, and reference table dumps.
