Job Description

• Expanding the platform’s offerings for providers\n• Breaking down APIs with a focus on performance and scalability\n• Continuous improvements to our tech stack, processes, and infrastructure\n• Partnering with our other engineering teams to enhance configurability within our platform\n• Collaborating with other engineers, product management and design to identify and solve complex problems\n• Contributing to technical design processes and provide improvement suggestions and feedback\n• Playing an influential role in growing Snapsheet to be the industry leader in technology\n• Working in an agile environment and participating in weekly stand ups, retrospectives, etc.\n• Proactively re-evaluate scope, flag issues, and suggest alternatives\n• Mentoring junior developers and contributing to development team best practices

Job Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM field\n
  • 5+ years of full-stack web development experience\n
  • Designing and building APIs\n
  • Designing schemas and performant queries for relational databases\n
  • Understanding of scalability challenges and performance of server-side code\n
  • Prior professional experience using React\n
  • Prior experience using Ruby on Rails a plus\n
  • Eagerness to learn from and work with a collaborative team\n
  • Commitment to quality and passion for technology and creating cutting-edge solutions\n
  • Ability to manage tasks and to contribute towards multiple initiatives during a sprint.
