Job Description

• Lead and mentor data engineers • Identify and own enterprise-wide data architecture solutions • Design and evolve scalable data architectures and pipelines • Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes leveraging AWS, SQL, Databricks, etc. • Assemble and manage complex datasets • Implement best practices in data quality and monitoring • Deliver analytical tools and data products • Partner with cross-functional teams to address data challenges • Drive process improvements for scalability and automation

Job Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship or public trust clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in software engineering
  • Minimum 2 years working in large scale Databricks implementation
  • Proficiency in Python, TypeScript or JavaScript
  • Proven experience with large-scale architectures and Petabyte-level data
  • Experience with cloud-native data tools (Redshift, Glue, Airflow)
  • Proficient in automated testing frameworks (PyTest, Jest)
  • Experience developing RESTful and GraphQL APIs
  • Proven AWS cloud architecture experience
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and Terraform
  • Proficiency with Git and CI/CD workflows
  • Knowledge of performance monitoring tools
  • Comfortable working in Agile teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
