Job Description
• Perform legal translation services for a United States Government client
• Translate, interpret, or transcribe legal content
• Knowledge of correct legal and technical terms in English and the source language
• Undergo security clearance processing if selected
Job Requirements
- 3 years of experience providing professional language services to governmental clients
- Extensive legal language service experience is required
- Bachelor's degree in a foreign language, linguistics, or comparable field required
- Must be able to use CAT tools (if translator or editor); experience using Trados preferred
- Excellent organizational skills and understanding of language services
- Advanced proficiency in reading/writing/listening and speaking in English and the target foreign language(s)
- Available during 9-5 EST most days to take on-demand assignments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
