Job Description

• Perform legal translation services for a United States Government client • Translate, interpret, or transcribe legal content with a knowledge of correct legal and technical terms in English and the source language • Work as a freelance contractor

Job Requirements

3 years of experience providing professional language services to governmental clients
Extensive legal language service experience is required
Bachelor's degree in a foreign language, linguistics, or comparable field required
Must be able to use CAT tools (if translator or editor); experience using Trados preferred
Excellent organizational skills and understanding of language services
Advanced proficiency in reading/writing/listening and speaking in English and the target foreign language(s)
Available during 9-5 EST most days to take on-demand assignments
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
