Job Description

• Architect and develop services using Node.js and TypeScript • Implement and manage routes, serverless functions, and custom endpoints • Build and maintain GraphQL and RESTful APIs • Collaborate with frontend developers to define API contracts • Handle authentication and authorization flows • Integrate deeply with third-party services and APIs • Work with databases to support dynamic content • Develop and maintain middleware logic • Optimise frontend performance from the backend side • Collaborate with DevOps/infra teams for deployment pipelines • Establish strong testing practices for API endpoints • Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks • Contribute to platform architecture discussions • Work closely with product teams and designers

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
5+ years of professional development experience, with 3+ years working across both frontend and backend
Expertise in TypeScript
Deep knowledge of React.js, Next.js, and Node.js
Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript
Proven experience in backend architecture
Experience with databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or MySQL
Solid understanding of CI/CD workflows
Mastery of responsive and adaptive design principles
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Passion for clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
