Job Description

• Architect, design, and integrate Safety components to create a safe humanoid robot • Coordinate with external partners to implement components of the system • Collaborate with the functional safety and systems engineering teams to develop and refine requirements and verification/validation tests for the safety system • Drive rigorous safety software development practices required for functional safety certification

Job Requirements

MS or Ph.D. in robotics, computer science, or related field or have equivalent industry experience
Experience architecting and developing safe robotics systems
Experience collaborating with functional safety teams
Experience coordinating the technical output of external partners
Experience developing safety critical systems
Experience with embedded systems
Strong software experience in modern C++ and Python
Exposure to standard agile and software development processes (issue tracking tools (Jira), feature branching, version control (Git), continuous integration and deployment)
Ability to communicate technical information effectively both orally and in writing with other team members
Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
Authorization to work in the USA
