Job Description
• Manage and mentor a regional team of AV Commissioning Engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Direct daily commissioning activities across multiple sites, ensuring consistency, quality, and adherence to timelines.
• Coordinate resource allocation, scheduling, and task assignments to meet project milestones efficiently.
• Review AV system designs for feasibility, compliance, and alignment with client requirements.
• Conduct rigorous testing and validation to guarantee AV systems meet the highest performance standards.
• Act as the primary point of contact during commissioning phases, delivering exceptional customer experience.
• Work closely with project managers, design engineers, and programmers to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Develop and implement commissioning best practices, workflows, and documentation standards.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and guidance during complex commissioning tasks.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate training sessions and promote knowledge transfer within the commissioning team.
• Support long-term planning and innovation within the AV commissioning function.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Audio Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as an AV Commissioning Engineer or similar leadership role.
- Strong understanding of AV technologies including audio processors, video codecs, displays, and control systems.
- Familiarity with AV protocols such as HDMI, HDBaseT, Dante, and AES67.
- Proficiency in AV system calibration and audio optimization.
- Hands-on experience with AV testing equipment and measurement tools.
- Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interaction.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments.
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving project requirements and deadlines.
- Professional demeanor and customer-focused approach.
- Willingness to travel extensively as required.
