Job Description
• Manage a defined portfolio of ASC’s National Fire Distribution Accounts.
• Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for the Fire team.
• Craft and execute growth strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals, and maximizing sales opportunities through various channels of engagement.
• Develop deep understanding of each distributor's business model, performance metrics, market position, and growth opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders at distributor organizations – corporate and field sales.
• Identify opportunities for product expansion, increased market penetration, and revenue growth within the distributor channel.
• Collaborate with distributors to create joint business plans that outline objectives, key initiatives, implementation, field activation, and success metrics.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in the fire industry, sales, and business development, preferably with distribution management experience.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute growth strategies that deliver measurable results
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in interpreting sales data and market trends
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience with CRM tools, Power BI, Microsoft suite of products, and sales forecasting systems
- Willingness to travel as required to build and maintain relationships with distributors, estimated at 50%+
