Job Description

• Lead Enterprise Data Analysis: Set the strategy and operational model for analytics across the business, ensuring alignment to company goals and measurable outcomes. • Partner with Senior Leadership: Collaborate with C-level and functional leaders to establish strategic plans, roadmaps, and objectives for data-driven decision-making. • Oversee Data Estate: Direct data engineers in the ingestion and curation of the company's data assets into our Azure-hosted data lake, with continuous cost optimization and pipeline modernization. • Evangelize for Data Governance: Build trust in the company's data assets by promoting documentation and discoverability, while also partnering with InfoSec to ensure data security • Prioritize High-Impact Work: Engage with corporate leaders to focus initiatives on the most critical, value-driving business questions. • Deliver Strategic Insights: Provide timely, actionable recommendations on product performance, sales effectiveness, marketing ROI, industry shifts, competitor dynamics, and consumer trends. • Competitive & Market Intelligence: Analyze competitor activities and market movements to inform company strategy, positioning, and key business decisions. • Data Quality & Governance Collaboration: Partner with business leaders and IT to improve reference data quality, taxonomy, and master data standards that power analytics. • Modern Analytics Enablement: Ensure the team has access to and mastery of modern, scalable analytics tools and platforms (e.g., cloud data warehouses, BI, statistical modeling, AI/ML where appropriate). • Stakeholder Engagement: Establish robust intake, prioritization, and communication rhythms (OKRs, QBRs) to maximize transparency, speed, and impact. • Talent & Culture: Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing analytics team with a culture of curiosity, rigor, and business partnership.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Business Analytics, Finance or Accounting, Information System, Engineering, Natural Sciences or related field
  • Master’s degree in a related field preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of management experience required
  • Microsoft and/or Databricks certifications preferred
