Job Description
• Lead enterprise strategic sourcing and category management strategies aligned to Chief Procurement Officer priorities and business objectives.
• Drive complex, high-value sourcing initiatives including RFx processes, negotiations, supplier selection, and long-term supplier roadmaps.
• Develop and execute multi-year category strategies informed by spend analytics, market intelligence, and total cost of ownership analysis.
• Partner with Legal, Risk, Finance, Technology, and Operations to structure compliant contracts and manage commercial risk.
• Establish and strengthen strategic supplier partnerships to improve performance, innovation, and resilience.
• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing sourcing team through clear goals, coaching, and talent development.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Business Administration, Information Technology, Vendor Management, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or category management within complex organizations.
- 5+ years of experience leading high-value negotiations and enterprise-level sourcing initiatives.
- 5+ years of people leadership and executive-level stakeholder engagement experience.
- Preferred 7+ years of experience in banking, financial services, or other highly regulated industries.
- 7+ years of experience sourcing technology, software, professional services, or other indirect spend categories.
- 7+ years of experience working with vendor management, third-party risk, or legal/commercial contracting teams.
