Job Description

• Preparation of drainage studies, hydromodification analysis, detention basin analysis, and assisting in preparation of design plans for civil engineering projects. • Performing third-party reviews of other consultants' drainage and water quality reports, and SWPPPs. • Hydrologic and hydraulic analysis using programs such as AES, CivilDesign, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, WSPG, and StormCAD. • Preparation of letter proposals, attending client meetings, and assisting the team with business development opportunities. • Preparation of FEMA Letters of Map Revision (CLOMRs/LOMRs) • Preparation/Review of Storm Water Quality Management Plans (SWQMPs) • Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) preparation/review

Job Requirements

Possess a Bachelor’s or higher Degree in Civil Engineering.
PE license in California
3+ years preparing Drainage Reports in Southern California
Strong knowledge of both County and City of San Diego hydrologic and hydraulic requirements
Experienced in Rational Method calculation and basin routing calculations
Knowledge of AutoCAD, Bluebeam, ArcGIS, HEC programs, PondPack, and SWMM is desired.
Floodplain Manager Certification by ASFPM (preferred).
