• Work closely with the IT team and the business divisions to optimize the performance and operations of the systems. • Ownership of internally written code, code written by third parties on behalf of 5.11, training and education, and working with the global support staff as well as Microsoft. • Helping architect Enterprise systems, aiding the Business Analysts in evaluating line of business needs, assisting in identifying and developing system solutions, determining system implications, assisting with testing/test scripts, release notes, user guides, workflow diagrams, and training. • Management and execution against project plans and delivery commitments. • Report on status of development, quality, operations, and system performance to SDM. • Evaluating software solutions and system performance. • Consulting with management and other developers to determine software solution requirements. • Managing the development, deployment, and integration of software solutions. • Collaborating with front end users on software functionality. • Resolving software deployment and integration errors, and documenting processes. • Performing routine maintenance and monitoring performance metrics. • Keeping abreast of new software technologies, as well as conforming to best practices in cybersecurity. • Occasional travel to other locations as needed.
