Job Description
Represent surgical glaucoma product line to eye care professionals within assigned New Jersey territory; report to U.S. Regional Sales Manager.
Responsible for sales and promotion to hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers; maintain and grow annual sales volume.
Achieve territory and corporate business objectives by selling/promoting products to ECPs.
Provide product and technical consultation to ECPs on appropriate use.
Create and execute strategic plan and routing schedule; plan and execute pre-booked calls daily.
Grow sales by introducing physicians to products; facilitate wet labs and train residents/physicians.
Develop and maintain customer relationships; respond to customer requests within 12 hours; perform follow-up and resolve issues.
Participate in conventions, educational events, area/regional meetings; manage and prioritize time to achieve territory goals.
Perform administrative responsibilities including expense reports and communications.
Job Requirements

- Presentation skills and ability to present to rooms of up to 30 people.
- Creative thinking and ability to design immediate solutions.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- 4-year degree strongly preferred OR 5+ years Ophthalmic/Ophthalmic surgical/medical device experience with strong customer relationships.
- If 4-year degree completed, minimum 3 years’ experience with outside B2B sales in Pharmaceutical and/or medical device industry.
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM preferred.
- Vendor credentialing experience in the medical field.
- Ability to travel up to 75% (US only).
- Valid driver’s license and passport with no major driving violations.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
